Another use for you kitchen tap

Yes there is, really.
You may have seen stainless steel soap on sale to remove onion and garlic smells from your hands - well providing you are on your own, run your hands lovingly up and down you tap and it does the same job.

    Using any stainless steel implement or cutlery that's going to need washing up anyway works just as well. And if you've managed to get your hands all smelly you must have been creating some washing up at the same time :)

    See now my oh already thinks i have a thing for my new stainless steel mixer tap with lever action controls. If he caught me lovingly rubbing my hands on them well hmmmm;)

    the best way to get rid of onion smells from your hand is a big blob of salt and rub it in with water, Voila the smell dissapears :D
