Telephone Call Block Scam

A friend of mine, who is in her eighties, has, I believe been scammed out of £189.99 from a company called Infinite Call Blocker. The salesperson gave her the sales pitch of providing a new phone that can block all unwanted calls, The phone she got is a BT4600 series, that when I researched it, costs £35.00.
My suspicions were raised, when I noticed they spelt her name wrong, that their letter says Infinite Call Blocker, but the Invoice says Infinity Call Blocker and looks fake.
They persuaded her to pay by Postal Order, rather than by bank payment, so she cannot prove this is what she paid for. As for a full refund, the letter states they will only give a partial refund (probably the cost of the cheap phone) or an exchange.
So after researching the address they have on the letterhead, which is a building with small offices, Companies House (Not registered) and looking if anyone else has had problems, which I did. This appears to be bogus.
From other research I did, they appear to ask for a yearly payment, in which they send out a new phone (cheap most likely).
Please warn any elderly friends or family to be careful.

Not sure why spelling a name wrong would raise concerns? I am sure in my call centre days I got plenty of names wrong and equally I get an "e" at the end of my surname all the time because its the more common spelling.
Seems that they have increased their prices since the Which? article on them https://www.which.co.uk/news/article/my-father-wanted-to-block-rip-off-calls-but-the-call-blocking-company-is-ripping-him-off-atlp24u6WEc0
Would make some other companies however it would make me appear to be defending a company who certainly appear to not be delivering what they are promising (their website is confused enough about what they are offering anyway)0
