Can anybody who has had a successful Plevin claim answer a question please?

I have engaged a firm to look up potential Plevin cases, it does fall under the rules which allow you to try to claim due to the Plevin ruling, but I rang today and was told something they hadn't informed me of before. I asked about how long it may take to hear back from the 2 places if there is any PPI to claim and they said they should hear within a week or so. The man then told me that ALL Plevin claims, if there is any money to potentionally come back, are taken to court by the lender. I was surprised about this and hadn't heard or read this about Plevin before. Has anybody who managed to claim back under Plevin had to go via the courts to get their money back?
