LPA amendment/revocation

Two years ago my mother set up a finance and property LPA naming my sister and I as attorneys. We have recently discovered that she mistakenly ticked the box for making decisions ‘jointly’ rather than ‘Jointly and severally’. She wants to correct this, and still has capacity. Does she need to completely revoke the old LPA and start again? Can she send the new, correctly filled in forms into the OPG along with the old LPA and deed of revocation so there is no gap between the LPAs?
We can’t find any info on the OPG website for exactly this scenario, and their phone and email advice lines seem to be pretty non-functional at the moment, so we’re wondering if anyone on this forum has experience with this. Thank you!

I can’t answer your question, but I found the OPG do eventually answer the phone but it can take up to an hour of hanging on. Also found when they had just opened a better time than later in the day to get through to someone. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Fairly sure you can't amend, need to set up from scratch. Might a quick call to a solicitor confirm that?Signature removed for peace of mind0
