I’ve got a Tv licence

Hi, I currently have an up to date tv licence paid for in quarterly instalments, I keep receiving a lot of letters from tv licensing to the present occupier in a variation of my address with a different road & the wrong postcode but actually incorrect as it doesn’t exist. I have spoken to tv licensing on several occasions only to be told that I need to buy a licence, when I’ve explained I’ve already got a licence & supplied them with the number they say they will pass the information on and the letters will stop. However 2 years on & 7 phone calls later I still get the threatening letters off them. Is there anything I can do ?
Thank you

Is it your name on the letters. If not either send them back marked No longer at this addess'
Or bin them.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.1 -
Hi, thanks for the reply, no my names not on the letter, I tend to get 4-6 letters a month addressed to the present occupier.0

As long as you have proof of yours , do as above....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.1 -

There has been a scam going around for a long time.
It may be that. It was on TV just yesterdaymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.1 -
Well the latest letters says “ an invoice has been raised against your address, pay immediately to stop further action being taken”0

Your first mistake is opening them.
If you have a TV licence just bin them and move on with your life, they're junk mail.0 -

Smells like a S.C.A.M0 -

No matter, don't open them, don't respond to them, just return to sender

Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
If it definitely says 'invoice" then I agree it probably isn't TVL but a scam.
But if you are assuming it is from a random code number starting IN, then it is TVL - they do that.0
