Ring doorbell ?

Hi there I’m moving soon and was thinking of getting a ring doorbell with 2 cameras extra , as it is a corner bungalow and I’d like the side and back protected ( I have pets as well )
so my question being , do you think they are worth the cost and what would my subscription be ?
or should o just get a similar type doorbell and get 2 dog cameras inside looking out to garden!?
thsnk you in advance!
:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:

I have a ring doorbell and a camera at the back.  I am not sure what the subscription is now but I purchased during a sale and got 3 years for £80 I think.  Obviously I think they are worth it.  if you have a smart speaker you can link them up to get notifications and so on.  The first night we had the doorbell we were notified of motion at 2am, at the front door, there was a guy wearing a hoodie and a mask trying the front door!

    Kind Regards,

there are loads of doorbell cams and floodlight cams that don't have subscriptions (yet..)
for example blink or eufy to name two
you can also use the flagship ring/nest ones without a subscription but you just can't see all recorded clips, only live view.
I think it's also worth pointing out that the wifi battery cameras are sooo easy to install (anyone can DIY) and are priced relatively cheap but that means they aren't going to last long, if you intend to stay where you are for a long time you will probably need to replace multiple times, I cant see them lasting more than 5 years. if you compare that to a professionally installed CCTV system with a 20 year life, it might work out cheaper (and much better)
