Kitchen plinth stopping dishwasher open fully

Have just finished fitting a kitchen and now the plinth that runs along under the sink, oven, dishwasher doesn’t allow the dishwasher (integrated with cupboard door on it) to open fully, not even enough to empty it. Plinth is fitted correctly, as is the integrated dishwasher door - the bottom of the fitted door catches the top 15mm of the plinth
the DW door is level with the rest of the cupboard doors, top and bottom. Any ideas?

IIRC, it was in the manual of my semi-integrated dishwasher to make a cutout in the plinth.1

It is often, though not always, necessary to cut away part of the top of the plinth so that the door of an integrated dishwasher can open properly. Last time I bought a dishwasher (Beko) a cut-out was needed, where the previous heap of junk (Indesit) didn't need this.1

thanks everyone - looks like it’s take a jigsaw to it. Just felt strange cutting into a brand new plinth, but is the general consensus.

Ridiculous really you would think that manufacturers would allow for plinth but it’s standard to trim it.
Rub some clear silicone or waterproof pva on the cut edge for a little protection.Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'2 -
I had to have the plinth trimmed.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Mine's trimmed plus additional little notch so the clock shines onto the floor without the top of the numbers being chopped off.Signature on holiday for two weeks1

Quick update, plinth now trimmed and dishwasher back in place. You can’t even see the 10mm I notched out.
thanks everyone4
