Can anyone recommend a place to buy flooring?

Online seems to have a higher selection, but the samples I've got back so far seem poor.

Have you looked to see if there are any local flooring businesses where you can view the products?
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1 -
I'd agree that you should pick the flooring you want first, then find someone that can sell it to you.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

We weren't happy with samples and found our preferred option by visiting a store (wooden flooring in our case). Of course it inevitably meant that we ended up preferring the most expensive option once seen in the flesh...1
