John Lewis mattress nightmare!

I'm amazed.............that you think that is a bad deal. Snatch their hand off before they change their mind as no court in the land would give you a full refund after 4 years0

I think the OP should take a look on eBay, Facebook etc and see how much a four year old really good mattress is actually worth. That is what your refund should entitle you to - enough to replace your four year old mattress not buy a brand new one.0

Sounds like more of a lovely dream than a nightmare!1

This customer rant has turned out to be a great bit of PR for John Lewis. I wish other companies were as generous as this."The problem with Internet quotes is that you can't always depend on their accuracy" - Abraham Lincoln, 18640

Totally unrealistic expectations.

I have nothing but praise for JL.
Returning an item to them as it was too large, I was allowed to return it, return postage paid by JL.
The money has been refunded to my account within a few days.
Their customer service is excellent, in my opinion.1 -
So which part was the nightmare? Getting a full refund and 4 years free use of a mattress?0
