Wahoo, first home saver from 5.00% to 5.10%. Regular savings accounts don’t normally interest me, obviously Coventry’s did.

The First Home Saver Issue 1 is brilliant for those who managed to get on and who have maxed FD/Club Lloyds/Natwest/RBS Regular Savers. I am very positively surprised that they will up the rate.0

I'm not. Coventry haven't increased the interest rate this year despite several base rate increases.Band7 said:The First Home Saver Issue 1 is brilliant for those who managed to get on and who have maxed FD/Club Lloyds/Natwest/RBS Regular Savers. I would have hoped for more than a 0.1% increase tbh1 -
In my books, 5% on a multi-year RS with no withdrawal restrictions and up to £1k monthly deposit is a great account for those who have maxed the other RSs I have mentioned. 5.1% is sweet. No faffing about with skimming off a monthly interest, like some do when their Barclays Rainy Day Saver is going over £5K. But that's just my take on the account - if it doesn't suit your requirements, you don't have to have it 😎gt94sss2 said:

I took out their flexible Cash ISA in April because it was one of the better flexible cash ISA deals at the time.
No complaints here that they have just increased the rate by 0.24%

Coventry BS haven’t released the new savings rates yet (This an old thread)
Who has the regular Home saver account currently 5.10%. Are you loosing interest (for this account) ?

I have the first home saver issue 1. Most of my funds are still below 5% so 5.10% is good enough for me right now. An increase is needed though, after the next BOE rate rise if the coventry account is below, it will cease to be good as I have the Hanley base rate tracker.Thumbs_Up said:Coventry BS haven’t released the new savings rates yet (This an old thread)

Coventry had better get a wiggle on. The four access saver at 4% is now bottom of the list of accounts I hold.

It took Coventry 3 weeks to increase their rates (1st June) from the previous MPC (11th May)
