If I report a fraudulent transaction to Halifax, will they cancel my credit card?

Given other banks can issue cards to other addresses this is a limitation of other bank's systems and not a systemic issue. I know of a colleague who went via a similar situation but had a much worse experience as he was in the EU at the time and thanks to Brexit they instead said they'd be closing his account because they cannot have residents of the EU as customers and didn't get that he wasn't a resident but it was their system limitation that required him to do the CoA to a EEA country to get a replacement card out.0
