If I report a fraudulent transaction to Halifax, will they cancel my credit card?

    The reason this has to be done is it is the way the card ordering system works. You can only order to the address on system. As it's only on an internal system, should not effect CRA & change of address.
    But banks report to the CRAs... I can see on my view of my history that I have a list of associated properties with dates and the bank that reported it. In some cases I have different banks reporting different dates... due to stupid old fashioned banks wanting forms with wet signatures posting -v- others that accept telephone calls. 

    Given other banks can issue cards to other addresses this is a limitation of other bank's systems and not a systemic issue. I know of a colleague who went via a similar situation but had a much worse experience as he was in the EU at the time and thanks to Brexit they instead said they'd be closing his account because they cannot have residents of the EU as customers and didn't get that he wasn't a resident but it was their system limitation that required him to do the CoA to a EEA country to get a replacement card out.
