• Competition closes at 12:00 (Midday) on 30.06.2023 and 3 working days later for postal entries

1)The prize comprises a two (2) night stay in London for up to four (4) people consisting of 2 adults and 2 children (child age 0 – 17 years) including;

a) An allowance of £200 towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer.

b) Two (2) nights at Number Sixteen sharing two (2) standard interconnecting rooms either Double or Twin

c) Full English Breakfast on one morning at the hotel for a family of four (4)

d) Continental breakfast on one morning in The Anning Room at The Natural History Museum for a family of four (4)

e) A morning tour at The Natural History Museum ahead of its opening to the general public for a family of four (4)

f) Tickets to a Natural History Museum exhibition of the winners choice for a family of four (4)

g) Behind the scenes entry to the Conservation Centre at the Natural History Museum (This can only be taken Monday and Friday with a minimum age of 8 years old) for a family of four (4)

h) £1,000 (one thousand pounds) spending money

2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

3) The prize must be taken before 30th June 2024 but cannot be taken on or between the following dates: 3rd July 2023 to 16th July 2023, 28th August 2023, 15th December 2023 to 5th January 2024, 18th February 2024 to 22nd February 2024, 6th May 2024, 19th May 2024 to 27th May 2024 and all Frieze 2023 and 2024 dates. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions.

4) Booking is subject to availability. 

5) A BACS transfer for the £1,000 spending money and travel costs included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed

6) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

7) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

8) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. Accessibility links can be found below:

9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

10) If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all winners affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

11) Any additional charges or expenses due to COVID-19 which could include but are not limited to quarantine hotels, COVID passports (should they become a requirement), COVID tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner. 

12) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

13) An allowance towards UK travel costs will be provided to the winner only. The allowance is calculated at a set maximum of £50 per guest and will be made payable to the winner at the time of accommodation booking by the prize provider as a BACs transfer. This travel allowance will be paid to the winner up to a maximum of £200.  Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the winners responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.  

14) Accommodation and footage kindly provided by Number Sixteen and Natural History elements including breakfast kindly donated by The Natural History Museum.
