And don't forget that you are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 anyway, in spite of what any company's warranty may or may not say.
In respect of cars, information in the following links -

This VW dealer did the right thing.
And that's what they should all do anyway because of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. I’m recommending a mechanic I had dealings with this week to all my friends and anyone I know with a Toyota , mates Prius needed a new hybrid battery as at 186k it was giving up.
Toyota wanted £2200 and gave 1 year warranty.
Local Toyota specialist was £1300 pick up or £1400 fitted and gave 3 years warranty, offered by himself. Knowing nothing will go wrong.
Two things that made us feel good about the mechanic.
He let us check the sealed genuine Toyota battery box and open it.
And wanted us to watch it being fitted. Toyota want £900 for fitting going on supply price above.
Offered a service oil & filter, pollen and air filter all genuine Toyota parts for £85.
Mates going back tomorrow at that price.
Anyone in need of this service and can get to Norbury, between Croydon and Streatham message me.
would highly recommend them.0
