Request for pictures of the envelopes that court claims were sent in.

This request is so that I can follow up on a request I made with the CCBC to investigate why they are sending county court claims out using a service that does not use Royal Mail first class postage or another service that provides for delivery on the next business day and has a postmark or evidence on the envelope to show the date of posting. Whilst we all know that RM does not guarantee next day delivery but it does aim to provide that service.
CPR 6.3(1)(a) requires first-class post, document exchange, or other service that provides for delivery on the next business day to be used for sending court documents unless there is a good reason to use an alternative method.
Some members of the forum have received their court documents much later than they were supposed to but cannot evidence the actual date of posting. Much of what the court sends through the post is time sensitive and those documents that are, need to be "deemed" to have been served so many days after they were posted. If the posting date cannot be evidenced then the CCBC are in breach of CPR 6.3(1)(a).
If you can, please post a picture of the envelope you received your claim, or at least the corner where the stamp or postmark should be as in the photo below:

If you are able, you can PM me the claim number so that I can refer it to the CCBC for their investigation.

That one was a letter sent by DCBLegal, though. I recall it from the thread it was posted on.
I think CCBC use a brown envelope and no mail consolidator middle-man.
But I share your concerns and have just sent this FOI to the MOJ and to HMCTS:

Thanks CM. I may have jumped the gun on this one. Although I do remember some posts where defendants stated they had no way of knowing or verifying the deemed service dates of some documents.2
