Hi
I am new to share dealing and use an APP to deal shares (HL)
I have 462 shares in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Enervy CA
I did receive an email in November 2022 about a possible takeover but not understanding what it meant for my shares, I took no action.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Enervy CA Are now delisted. I have tried to find information about what this means for my holding. I only have a few stocks but if I lose the money it’s a big deal for me . I can’t get information from Siemens or HL.

https://www.siemensgamesa.com/en-int/newsroom/2023/01/012523-siemens-gamesa-press-release-extraordinary-general-meeting-2023 suggests that the shares were acquired by Siemens Energy at €18.05 each, but the details should all be included within that shareholder email (or links from it?).Davecumbria said:I did receive an email in November 2022 about a possible takeover but not understanding what it meant for my shares, I took no action0

It means you hold untraded shares and can't sell them any more.2% of shareholders are in a similar position because they didn't do anything either. There is a shareholder meeting in a couple of months to resolve this. The details are all online. If the resolution is approved (you might want to ensure HL are voting Yes with your shares but outside Spain it's probably more hassle) you should receive 8,316 Euros some time in August.

In this case you should reconsider dealing in individual shares, which is high on the risk scale.
Most people invest in funds containing many thousands of shares, such as index trackers. These can be volatile but in the long run the risk of losing money is pretty small.
