Today - my suitcase is packed, and myself and my beloved are going to the German Christmas Market in town before collecting the suitcase and I'll be flying in to my parents' for Christmas!! We're hitting up Tesco on the way home...

Tomorrow it's dinner with three of my favourite girls and hanging out with my family in the evening, Christmas Eve is my grandmother's birthday and then it's Christmas!!

I'm so excited I got thrown out of bed this morning for being annoying :(

  • Today,, :xmassign: when I went into the nearest market town to me and saw (and heard) the town brass band playing carols to raise money for local Cheshire home and themselves.

The band stand normally just keeps people dry when they're waiting for a bus!!

  • yesterday evening when we were eating a lovely ready-cooked meal sent by cookfood.net

The day before, I made a good lunch for guests and was very tired by the evening but relaxation started last night

I went shopping this morning in the tiny market town close to where I live. I went at 8.20 and parked on the high street and had 4 quick chats with strangers doing the same as me. The two little supermarkets were open and so were the bakers, butchers and fruit shop. I went through my list in 20 minutes and was home just after 9 am to a lovely cup of coffee and a long read of the papers with lovely music on the radio in the background

so yes, christmas has started in this house and I feel great

We had our Xmas on Boxing day as my OH is an ambulance person and he unfortunately didnt make it home on Xmas day. So having waited all day we had a quick drink just before midnight and decided that we would do it all on Boxing day, pressies, lunch etc.
Still better than last year we had to wait till 6 pm on the 27th Dec.

    Heres hoping for Xmas 2008

    Elmer xx
