As Flux is new, I think most of us will have to wait until later in the year to see what options are available for non EV folks.

Octopus must realise that Flux is not good for winter so, rather than have everyone jump to another tariff, I'm hoping they'll offer some kind of adjustment to the rates for the less sunny months, maybe a second cheaper rate import slot say 1-4pm.
Yes I like your thinking there that Octopus aren't really going to want a mass migration from Flux to something else........ time will tell, let's enjoy the hopefully sunny months first  :)

It's not great, but it's not awful either.
Last winter, I wasn't trying to avoid the evening peak at all, or bothering running anything overnight even when I could. Running Flux prices against my 1/2 hour figures for October to May still put Flux ahead, and even the darkest months of the year were only £3 more expensive than the SVT and 15p exports. I don't think it would take much of a conscious effort to swing it back to parity at least.

3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). Octopus Flux

This is very true. It does currently seem that Octopus Flux is best for me between March and September when I get a bigger array

There is Cosy for the winter months? Though that assumes you've got a heat pump
