Is it free to withdraw from PayPal

I have a bit of money in PayPal from when eBay used to be connected. I have been trying to work out if I can withdraw this money to my bank. It says that zero fees using the xoom transaction until the last stage where is says fees 1.99. What am I doing wrong or is not free to withdraw money. Thanks

Why are you using xoom? It’s not the same as PayPal which is why there are fees. Just log into your ordinary non Xoom PayPal account and transfer to your bank account.

I thought Xoom was about sending abroad

I don't remember any transaction fee on the withdrawals I've done, though I've only done this about 5 times in 10 years

As the above poster has said, I have never used Xoom to send money from PayPal to my bank account. I just sent it straight to my account from PayPal and incur zero fees.

Same here. PayPal app to linked UK current account, zero cost.

Had someone send me £10 yesterday, withdrawn already to my linked bank account, no fee

I had my bank account on there but it wasn't properly linked. Linked it and transferred £10 hopefully all sorted. No xoom. Thank you
