What happens to my deposit in DPS if my agent changes?

Hi all,
I have left a rented property recently and I'm currently disputing with my landlord. However, I've noticed on my Deposit Protection Scheme portal that the old deposit was registered with a company we will call "Company A". However, my landlord now deals with "Company B", and it appears "Company A" has ceased trading and there are proposals to strike it off. My deposit certificate has Company A on it and it looks like it has not been changed.
Similarly, the tenancy on the portal says Jan 21 - Jan 22, although I've been in the property between Jan 21 - April 23. I've signed a new tenancy for Jan22-23 and Jan23-April23
What happens to my deposit and what are my rights? I've not received any correspondence to say this new agent is managing my deposit. I lived in the property between Jan21 - April 23, the change in agent happened sometime between then with public records suggesting Company A ceased trading on December 31st 2021.
I've also seen some discussions talking about landlords failing to protect deposits and getting damages off that, would that apply in this case if it appears the handling of the deposit was not transferred over?

You contract is with the landlord, not agent. (read it - who is named as landlord??) Yes appreciate all paperwork sorted by agent.
Take action though deposit scheme with landlord:
