Hi guys,
Just booked a flight 10 minutes ago, and wanted to pay for it using a voucher I had been given by LM.com from a cancelled flight from last year.
I was waiting for the section to enter in my voucher code and expected it to appear on the next screen but it didnt and payment went through on my debit card.
LM.com now saying even if I cancel the flight it is non refundable. Is there anything I can do?

What kind of flight was it?
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
It was an international flight.
Just to be clear, I dont actually want to cancel the flight, I would just like them to take the money from my voucher credit instead of my debit card.0 -
Does anyone know if I could contact my bank to stop the payment coming out? Or would that be adding fuel to the fire?0

No, if you've authorised a payment then they can't stop it after that.Jumbojumbo said:Does anyone know if I could contact my bank to stop the payment coming out? Or would that be adding fuel to the fire?0 -

Contact them and explain just that. They'll say yes or no.

I think you may just have overlooked the voucher redemption box. It is just above and prior to the field for credit/debit card payments. It is titled “Gift card or voucher code”. Click on it and enter your voucher number.0

It wasn't authorised. Pressing the wrong button accidentally is not authorising payment, is making a mistake.eskbanker said:

Even if it could be argued that it was authorised inadvertently or accidentally, that's still authorising the payment to be made! OP can certainly try to argue their case with Lastminute on the basis of making a mistake, but it would be pointless to attempt the same with their bank, as there is no buyer's remorse rewind facility when committing to payments, otherwise everyone would merrily reverse pending payments immediately after walking out of shops clutching valuable goods....[Deleted User] said:

The PC or laptop etc. doesn't recognise the distinction - it just does what it's told.[Deleted User] said:

From memory I'm sure Lastminute used to have something that you could cancel your flight within X hours of the booking at no cost. Is that gone now?0
