2% discount on Amazon credit is not worth faffing about for. There are ways of getting more than that and for larger amounts when you need it.
Any chance you could elaborate or post a link to another thread - can't find anything. I regularly get the Amazon money off codes etc but they all usually work in conjunction with gift card credit. Thanks!

    • Supermarket gift cards purchased at a discount, I've done this with Asda. Terms say you can't use them to purchase gift cards but nothing stops you doing this at a self checkout (just don't do more than £200 or so at a time as the tills will freak out). Reportedly the same is true of Sainsburys but I can't vouch for that.
    • On card cashback schemes (i.e. Airtime Rewards, Perks at Work, Natwest MyRewards etc) - sometimes you get retailers who sell gift cards offering as much as 10% via these schemes, but Wilko is almost always on Airtime Rewards at 4% (for me). Again the terms will usually say that gift card purchases won't count but the reality is that if it goes through the normal tills there's no way they can see the difference between a purchase of antibac wipes and an Amazon gift card.
