Can any one please recommend a FREE Android mobile phone Ad blocker.
I'm at the stage where it is virtually impossible to read anything on my phone due to constant ad's etc
Thanks for any/all replies.

If you use the Firefox browser you can install the free uBlock Origin extension which blocks adds very well. It is great for the desktop version of Firefox too.

Try Adblock Plus. It's free and available via Play Store.2

If you use a DNS based adblocker it will work across all apps and browsers.
Some good examples are:AdGuard DNS
NextDNS
Mullvad DNS
You will need to change your network settings:

Thanks for the above DNS suggestion
Although I found I had to use this syntax in the Private DNS setting to get a connection
dns.adguard.com
Found that here

Instructions are here ---> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/find-and-install-add-ons-firefox-android#w_how-do-i-find-and-install-add-ons
Previously addons were only available for beta and nightly.
And uBlock Origin does block adds very well.
Surprised more people aren't using this browser with Android.

The list of add-ons for Firefox Android is growing again, there are now a few different adblockers available.

I find Chrome's in built ad blocker to be good , works well on YouTube thats for sure, however some sites I find won't work cause it blocks some cookie pop ups too (seems to be mainly news sites) I have to turn off ad blocker , accept cookies, then turn back on ad blocker1

Chrome with adblock1

My preferred browser on Android is Brave which does eliminate a huge amount of ads. Is there anything else i could install to ensure they all go?.1
