I have unused maintenance costs carried over from last years tax return. Where do I put those on my tax return for this year and can I only claim at the lower rate of tax relief ?

Do you really mean maintenance payments or is the rental income related?beryl_paul said:I have unused maintenance costs carried over from last years tax return. Where do I put those on my tax return for this year and can I only claim at the lower rate of tax relief ?
If so wouldn't it be a loss you had to carry forward?0 -
Hi
These maintenance cost are for work done on a house I rent out. There was a lot of repair work needed after previous tenants. I had to carry over a lot of this expenditure. So this is known as a loss from the previous tax year ? Thanks for any advice you can give ?0 -
Did your previous return show a loss at 5 April 2022?0
