And First Direct breached it 6 months ago, albeit for a more limited customer group and amount.

Well if you're including regular savers, I'm 7.5 months into the lloyds one at 5.25%

It said nothing about fixed term in the thread title. I thought this thread was about all accounts paying above 5%

My (rather modest) cash savings have hit a weighted average interest of 5.04% this month, held across a combination of easy access, fixed term and regular savings accounts. 

This time last year it was barely 1%
