First direct - now what?

I have just used to app to sign up for First direct current account. I want to get the regular saver.

It says it was successful and it will send me a card, but how to I apply for the regular saver and how do I set up online banking and a telephone password? Seems like once I get the card I can use the app to register for online banking but I also need a telephone password which it didn't ask me to complete...

Do I need to get into the online banking before I can apply for the regular saver? I was kind of expecting an email with an the information but nothing has come through.

First Direct are renowned for excellent telephone customer service. Just phone them and ask your questions there.

I applied online but my setup was all done over the phone. It took about 15 minutes as they had to read out Tc&Cs to me.

This was a few years back so things may have changed but I have spoken to them on a number of occasions and I can vouch for their excellent telephone service, from quick answering to professional and knowledgeable service.

On calls your voice is kind of a password.

They will ask for your post code and surname and inital.

Once logged in to the app, click on the 3 line at the bottom right and then products, Regular saver.

Takes about 90 seconds to open.
