Free transit hotel in Abu Dhabi

I recently used Etihad for a visit to the Far East. I chose flights to give me about 20 hours in Abu Dhabi each way, and under these circumstances the airline provides a hotel for you. There are some conditions that are explained on their website, but these are easy to satisfy. It made an enormous difference, being able to have a good night's sleep and then go for a swim half-way through the journey.
