Ah yes, I filled one of those in donkeys years ago, then a couple of renewals....born_again said:I know you are migrating over.
But this is the UC form that covers LCRWA.

I applied for UC while on ESA, as Poppy says I immediately added a journal note regarding my ESA status after I submitted the application.1

You won't need to complete a UC50 form when migrating to UC if you are already in the ESA support group, well not unless you were due a review anyway.FindMyWayBack said:

Yes I know thanks. Amazing how the UC one is just like the old ESA ones. This hanging on is awful, I read they will wait to move us until 2028 now, I don't imagine the Conservatives will get in next GE so I wonder what will happen to the one assessment for all Idea. I think it's downright evil how it changes every 5 minutes. Not achieved managed and it's changed, now it will change again under Labour no doubt. NOT political comments just thinking aloud. :-)Rubyroobs said:

It's basically exactly the same WCA, there's just one or two niche differences in the legislation IIRC.FindMyWayBack said:

That's the work capability assessment form (UC50) which is exactly the same as ESA50. The OP will not need to fill in one of those when they claim UC. They were asking for the UC application form looked like, not the WCA form.

368.74 plus 390.06 plus 132 .12 (just me/don't owe them anything/not caring) is this right please? Obviously I haven't included housing costspoppy12345 said:FindMyWayBack said:
Ok thanks I have watched that and now I can see what it looks like.summer_daze009 said:As previously mentioned claims are made online, but if you need an idea of what questions there are this may help:

I have no problems doing anything online but I wanted to see if they ask if you are in the support group (LCWRA) for ESA and getting SDP so they would protect it during migration, I wonder if you know if they do?I don't think that's one of the questions they ask. Once you've submitted your claim you can add a message onto your journal and tell them that you're currently claim ESA in the Support and and it includes the SDP. (assuming you still qualify once you've claimed UC)If your a single person then your SDP transitional protection will be £132.12/month. This erodes over time so if other elements increase the TP decreases until such a time it erodes completely. What's the reason for claiming UC? Those that are in the Support Group for ESA with SDP included will be worse off when they claim UC even with the SDP TP included. The £132.12 is the SDP Transitional protection which applies only to natural migration through change of circumstances only. If claiming because of managed migration then you shouldn't be any worse off when you apply because Transitional protection will be included when you first claim. However, those that are claiming Income Related ESA will not be migrated across until at least 2028 (unless you're claiming tax credits) or a change of circumstances prompts a move before that.0 -
It is income related and no tax credits yes. Thanks for the info, I should have said waiting for managed in my first post. Reassuring to know it will be the whole amount. Of course anything could happen between now and 2028. Why has it been decided to leave us until then?poppy12345 said:FindMyWayBack said:

To save the government money. People who are on income based ESA who go not get SDP in their ESA are expected to get more money on UC than on ESA. Delaying the switch delays the increased payments.FindMyWayBack said:.. Of course anything could happen between now and 2028. Hi, thanks for your reply. Now maybe I have not had enough coffee yet but I don't understand this as if we go over on managed they pay us the same as now and it erodes, I don't understand why it would be more. Please spell it out.calcotti said:
