NatWest switch offer

Im thinking about switching from lyolds club silver which I upgraded in march to NatWest

For this, to proceed, I just go on the NatWest website and select current account switch offer then submit my old bank details

I'm wondering when is the cut off date

I got thousands saved in my basic saver, will this get transferred over? Or is it best to transfer this into another bank account

Using CASS to switch your account only involves what it stands for: Current Account switching service: It will not include your savings.
It may well be that you can only access your savings via your Club Lloyds account, I don't know.
In other words when your Lloyds account is closed you may not be able to get your money out of the savings account. The basic saver isn't paying the best interest rates anyway so you might want to transfer that money out before you start a switch

The terms of the NatWest offer are displayed prominately on their website. The offer is available until they decide to withdraw it (hence no advertised end date).

I would also read through the very helpful advice multiple users left you on your last thread when you tried to switched your Halifax account to Lloyds (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6419973/can-i-switch-to-lloyd-silver-if-i-have-a-lloyds-basic-for-the-200/p1). Several people (myself included) explained how the CASS system works in fairly simple terms. In a nutshell however, no, your savings will stay where they are and will not be moved as a part of the switch.

Also, I hope you downgraded your Lloyds silver account to classic so you have not been paying the monthly fee for the last few months...

I'd second what @PRAISETHESUN says, there is all the help and information you will ever need in your other thread about switching banks.

    PS, It's Lloyds

Regardless of switching current accounts if you want to earn some decent interest then it would make sense to open a savings account elsewhere asap. You'll probably earn 10x what you get on a basic saver
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

What do I click on here after I clicked on:

    1) option
    I don't have a NatWest current account,

    2) Then I selected the select account

    3)

I've typed in my sc and acc num and not yet received a letter confirming the switch

All I have to do now is deposit £1250 and wait 7 sleeps?

They never sent me a letter in the 3 switches I've done to Natwest group. You'll instead receive an email when they start the switch.

Personally I would play it safe and wait until you've received the email before depositing £1250. Also don't forget to log into the app.
