Insurer cover review email?

Hello,
I purchased life insurance with Zurich in 2017 quite cheap (I was 20yo at the time, no health issues).
Now I've received this email from Cavendish on behalf of Zurich asking me to fill a survey which is full of important information similar to when I purchased the insurance, for the sake of "making sure my cover is correct in case of a claim".
Do I need to fill this? Is there a catch?
Thanks!
Miguel

Suggest that you contact Zurich first to find out whether this request has come from them.
I would be cautious in completing any online request for information, as some requests may not be what they appear.
I am presuming you have not had previous dealings with Cavendish on behalf of Zurich. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
There may be something that means you wouldn't be covered unless you have declared something. So if you had been diagnosed with something crucial or even had taken up drinking, smoking and/or extreme ironing. But I would def be ringing them on a known number rather than doing something online.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Cavendish are a discount insurance broker, did you use them originally when you took out the Zurich policy? If so I would imagine it's a review of your current life/other insurance needs in general ie have you enough/too much cover or perhaps other insurance requirements.0
