Drafting of Will advice - leaving property and contents

I haven't used a Will Writing Service. This is a legitimate law firm with a few offices around the UK. I paid £350 for the Will.
I wanted to add that my house means any dwellingsl situated in the UK and worldwide in the definition section of my Will (in case I buy a property abroad before I die). He told me that he would not add worldwide because he's only able to give me advice on UK law. He told me I'd have to.make another Will in whatever country I choose to purchase land.
The thing is this solicitor hasn't given me any advice.0 -
So what you actualy want is:
House and Contents - 100% daughter
Residual Estate (excepting above and after taxes and costs) 60%, 20%, 20%
If you turn it round this way then you remove any ambiguity. I am making the assumption that there are no other assets such as jewellery etc that you would like your daughter to receive. I would also list these explicitly and separately in any case

Does the will refer to ' chattels' at all ?
This is the term I believe is often used to cover the deceased's personal private possessions (other than property), such as any house contents, etc...0 -

A UK Will may not have any effect on assets in a foreign jurisdiction - it depends on the law in that country.
If you have capacity to buy a property abroad you will have capacity to take legal advice from a solicitor familiar with the law in that specific country and make a new Will if needed.
How exactly is the "property" referred to? I.e., have you avoided the "1 Acacia Avenue" issue that Silvertabby referred to on page 1?The thing is this solicitor hasn't given me any advice.Drafting the Will = legal advice.
