Follow up letter received after sending online appeal (UKPC)

Hi all,
I used Edna Basher template to appeal a ticket from UKPC via online and I put I am the "registered keeper" on the drop-down box when appealing.
I have had this letter come through now. I haven't had this before when appealing. Are they trying to catch me out?
What's the next step, shall fill in the online appeal again same as before and re-submit?
The car is a lease car, by the way.
Any help would be highly appreciated

Just to add timeline before this.Car is a leaseDate of parking, over stay by minutes on 5th march. ANPR camera in the car park (not a window wicket)Got email from leasing company on 18th march telling me I have a parking "invoice" and they have given details of the hirer.Received the parking invoice addressed to me via post on 26th March (guessing this is the NTK?)I then appealed on the 31st march using Edna Basher template.Got the letter above, 4th may.0

You should ignore that letter. Just file it and wait patiently for your PoPLA code and appeal to PoPLA as described in the third post of the NEWBIES thread.
At no time should you give away the driver's details.
This will be easily winnable at PoPLA as long as they don't know who was driving.

I will sit and wait patiently for the POPLA Code now. I have no idea who was driving anyway

Has UKPC adhered to the requirements of PoFA 2012 Schedule 4 (13)?savingisthegame said:Hi all,I used Edna Basher template to appeal a ticket from UKPC via online and I put I am the "registered keeper" on the drop-down box when appealing.I have had this letter come through now. Probably not so you will win this at POPLA as long you are only responding as the hirer. You are not the RK and the PCN you received was a NtH. As long as there is no revealing the identity of the driver, UKPC have nowhere to go.2 -

Is being the Registered keeper same as the hirer, I guess? But UKPC need to find the driver to issue the so-called "charge" to enforce it?0 -
But you are not the Registered Keeper. The hire company is the Registered Keeper.savingisthegame said:oh I have told UKPC via the online appeal form I am the "Registered Keeper" from the drop down that is all so far. If you were the Registered Keeper then the parking company would've got your name and address from the DVLA and written to you directly rather than writing to the leasing company.4 -

As I had no other choice as i wasn't going to put driver or Driver/Keeper as I have no idea who was driving.Great thanks Keith! I'll sit and wait for the pop code now and then come back here to draft the popla appeal

You will be appealing to POPLA as the "hirer", not the "driver". UKPC cannot make you liable for the PCN because it isn't POFA compliant, no matter what they said in their letter. You will win at POPLA. Just wait for the code.4

So it's kind of an advantage that it is a leased car than owned by me personally
