Inactive card has negative impact to credit score?

Message at the bottom of the Credit Karma website tells you the exact nature of their business -

"Credit Karma UK Limited is a credit broker, not a lender. We get commission if you take out a product, but we're independent so we never rank offers based on that".

It couldn`t be any clearer what they do.

I wouldn't pay the 'credit score' part of ClearScore much attention. Mine has been on a consistent decline with them over the years despite having a perfect credit history with practically zero negative factors on my report, it does quite literally decrease for no reason (presumably as some sort of enticement into using the services they stand to gain from).
