Just got a good quote from Toyota via MSM but no way to pay on line. Googled them to check I was not being scammed and no one answers.
Anyone know if they are for real?

UPDATE: got through on a totally different number - 0333 103 7763 still not purchased but at least they look a bit more genuine now. Considering all of the bad reviews, they might be about not getting hold of them!0

If you go to the toyota car insurance website it seems they are real.0

I gave an update on 4/5/23 but since then have heard nothing. They asked for an email with the proof of NCD which was sent immediately.0

Daft question (from me). If their service is reputedly bad, may I ask why you took a policy with them?CplSmudge said:I gave an update on 4/5/23 but since then have heard nothing. They asked for an email with the proof of NCD which was sent immediately.

As its cheap and sites like this, owned by the same aggregator the OP found the quote on, champion that cheap is best when it comes to insurance.Smithcom said:

I doubt that.

Motor insurance is compulsory. Without it I am breaking the law. As it is "standardised" across the industry, it does make sense to purchase a policy at as low a price as possible, provided that the insurance company is regulated. If by chance I was to purchase a policy from Toyota, or any other company, and could provide documentary evidence such as screen shots, payment proof, emails etc, and then there was no policy, I am sure that the regulators would take my methodology into account. After all, it would not be in MSE or MSM's best interests to start recommending insurance from non-existent companies.oldernonethewiser said:DullGreyGuy said:

TPO (or RTA Only technically) is the statutory part of Motor insurance and yet the overwhelming majority buy comprehensive cover.CplSmudge said:

Given people are wanting to buy more than the minimum legally required it would stand to reason that they'd care about the standard of the effectively optional extra coverages however typically they buy the cheapest and then complain after when they discover they dont get a courtesy car or items in the vehicle when it was stolen arent covered etc.1 -
