Moving out of a rental property - how do I make sure I get my full deposit back?

Thanks so much everyone for your comments and help - especially @tacpot12 's cleaning tips and your questions for us to consider @RAS and @dimbo61 ! It worked out that the landlord is now not selling it immediately, and letting it out to companies looking to relocate their staff, so very glad we took a video. I was worried we didn't have before pics but gladly my partner took some. We also painted the whole place at our own expense with LL's approval when we moved in because the walls were an utter state. So hopefully that's taken into account!
