    I have not heard anything from the court regarding service of the N180 form. Should I just wait ? The appellant has served me their N180.

    I know you didn't use it, but there is a checklist in the opening post of the Template Defence thread.

    Item 7 on that list says...

    It is probably worth you reading the rest of that checklist.

    It's one of the first five threads on this Parking board.
    It is always at the top of the first page of this Parking board.

    I have just done exactly what you have done and searched using template defence.
    And there it is... on the first page returned...


    But there really is no need to search.

    I now have a Court date of 18th April and need to start putting together my Witness Statement.  I know I need to keep it specific to my case but I guess there are some standard parts I can use. Can you help ?

    Also DCB Legal did try and offer me a Settlement at £100 which I refused.  Now need to make progress.  Guess they will withdraw prior to the hearing ?

    DCB Legal have now submitted a Notice of Discontinuance.  Can I apply for costs ?  Is this the end of the matter ?

    If you have received a Notice of Discontinuance (N279) that is the end of the matter.  You could only ask the judge to rule on costs at a hearing; this is one of the reasons for so may discontinuances - to avoid getting beaten about the cheque book by the judge!
