British Gas
morning Guys, This is to do with British Gas . I'm in credited by£1445 , I pay by Direct Debit.
I would like a partial refund of £ 900 , but as I go into my account it says that I can't ask for a refund or lower d/d payments until I have had my payment review on the 30th may ?
Am I still entitled to a refund as it's my money even though it says not till the 30th may ..

Your BG account shows the funds in your account from the last bill, plus any credits (DDs) since then. It doesn't take off any charges for energy used until the next bill is issued. If you haven't been billed for almost 6 months then much of that credit might be used up once the bill is issued.

When was your last bill from British Gas, I am guessing that will also be 30/05. In which case the credit represents the total of your last six months payments, but with no costs against that as a bill has not yet been issued.
