Non-paying Buyers ?

Has anyone noticed a trend recently where buyers are dragging their heels paying for an item ? I seldom ever have this issue, and 99% of the time, payment is done straight away. Yet in the space of 1 week, I've had 3 of them. Two are on Auction purchases, and still within the 4 days time to pay . The 3rd one I actually gave the Buyer 7 days to pay, and still nothing. Suffice to say they've not replied to messages or invoices, and are now blocked. I'm wondering if it may be an eBay issue ?

I've begun selling some old bits and pieces on eBay in the past month or so and have sold about 15 things. On two ocassions I've had a buyer say "I don't want it now" after purchase and the order has been cancelled and I've had to re-list. I don't remember this happening in the past I suspect buyers now feel like they have more and more rights than ever - which is fair enough. I suppose.

Obviously my experiences are only anecdotal and relate to a dozen or so sales out of a billion (I made this number up) made on eBay this year! 😂

I’ve just had one who made an offer on an item, which I countered and they then came back with a further offer. Now they have decided that they ordered it by mistake (apparently). Not entirely sure how you can make 2 offers on an item you didn’t actually want…

if the buyer emails and asks for cancellation i just cancel no issues
but no contact after 4 days I send an invoice then open up a non paying bidder 

it funny that im in that position atm
been looking for somthing for a while thought i had found it and had an accepted offer
emailed seller  explained what had happened (was on phone and not relised it was a ebay reccomended item not the one i wanted)  had no reply from the seller
so 2 more days im going to have a non paying buyer report for myself 

note to self im no buying via the ebay app again
