Morning! Sunny! It always makes such a difference these days to throw back the curtian and it be sunny, it really does cheer me up, not like my goth days of youth when I hated it…Didn't get on yesterday. Took OH up the hospital to have an xray, he's been hacing pains when he breathes for a few weeks and he finally got round to doing something about it. Then we got back and were doing this and that, he went to work, I was in the garden and then researching keyhole gardens. I've applied for half an allotment, my growing space out the back doesn't allow for things like squash, or artichokes or any of the big stuff. I also found out they're not called allotments any more, they're called Leisure Gardens…how posh…Today we have someone coming to quote on a new porch and windows and there's another one coming next week. I intend to go for an actual walk today as well, I'm full of good intentions that pave my road to hell 😀

snoozer, what a pain…can you postpone maybe, not cancel? Gers, glad you/Alan found something so appropriate. Nanny, good luck and don't overdo things! Izzy, go easy, the same to you..OH has that sometimes, it's really painful, maybe just tell them you can't work miracles all the time?! camelot, there's always one..or two…or…Take care all, shout to the mia…enjoy the sun if you have it!

Morning all from Mehefinland

A lovely sunny but breezy day at the moment…. it won't last! Haven't posted for a while so a quick update:

Decluttered vast amounts of pennies on new sofa, the old one had a spring gone and I was in danger of doing a Zebidee impression at any moment. After a lot of hassle had the old one taken away- the earliest our local council could do it was June,so decluttered more pennies to a private company who recycle them. It was a goodish quality leather recliner so hopefully some of it will be repurposed.

The nags are ok and shedding coat like there is no tomorrow. Almost clouds of hair coming off them , and it gets everywhere.Changed their bedding to flax as we couldnt get shavings for a while. Its very absorbent and soft, but it too gets everywhere and travels remarkably well on your foorwear😁

Been trying to bin/recycle stuff left behind by DS. You would think a bicycle would go easily - nope! Its too good for the scrappy so willjust persevere and try agian later.

Going to Badminton horse trials on Thursday ,the first time in many years. Meeting DS and the Toxic Troll there as its roughly halfway between us.Mixed feelings. Could have knocked me down with a feather at the ticket prices!!!!😫And you have to prebook these days.

Printer died mid print yesterday . Probably cost more to fix than a new one so the hunt is on.
