Had surgery and feeling pressured

I had surgery and hospital gave me several month's sick note and physio , apparently I'm entitled to nothing self employed with savings
Within the first few days I had adverse reactions to hospital medication and sort twice in 24 hours to see GP, I had to get NHS higher up to sort it.
I'm getting pestered to go back to work as I guess my absence must be costing my associates money, I can't walk or stand for very long and feel that the surgeon will know better than I do.
I have a range of health issues and feel that my colleagues and family seem to think I'm somehow shirking 🤔and should just get on with it!
I've a blue badge and doubt that I would be insured in an accident if I go back too soon, I have also waited years for the surgery and don't want to undo it. 🙁 Seems I'm

If you've worked enough to pay or be credited with National Insurance contributions in the last two full tax years (I think) you may be entitled to ESA
Your health is far more important than your colleagues' convenience - and it would be worse for them (and frustrating for you) if you ended up having to be off sick again for even longer than you would have been if you went back too soon and set back your recovery. I'm sorry your family are not supportive either though, that must be very painful. But they're not living in your body, so they don't qualify to have any meaningful opinions about whether you should be going back to work or not.

Thanks, I have tried to get through to them that it will take as long as it takes and that they saw, me on morphine, so it didn't hurt that much at that point.
Chugging down morphine isn't my thing and neither is prescription medication and driving to a customers house reasonable, safe or legal.
I've offered to do some admin work if I feel well enough, I'm slightly concerned I have been scheduled for a customer meeting in online diary next week.🤔
ESA 16k limit on Savings.

New-Style ESA is not affected by savings, it's not means-tested beyond being affected by certain types of pension income over £85/week.1

I'm not familiar with DWP systems and it seemed surprisingly easy to put details in and send off copy of hospital note.
Thank you so much for your help as I was previously told I wasn't eligible over phone and clueless to how it worked.
Assuming I wasn't eligible I almost tossed lot of paperwork in shredder.
I've been dragged round today to look at an estimate and I think the penny may have finally dropped that I'm not shirking and actually feeling rough as from surgery.
Hopefully I can have a quiet weekend and I wish you the very best for bank holiday weekend.
