Can I keep Virgin email facility

I've cancelled Virgin after several years of price hikes, was wondering if I can keep using their email address?

You have 90 days and then your email account will be cancelled. This is why nobody should use the email from their BB provider.

Open a Gmail, GMX, Hotmail or similar account and just transfer your emails to them and use the time you have to inform anyone important of the change in address.

I haven't been a Virgin customer for about 4 years but my Virgin email addresses (and indeed my old NTL ones) are still working. I'm not banking on it staying that way though.

Yes, it's a bit hit and miss, some they just seem to forget and others are just cut off at some random date soon after the 90 days. Not something you could or should take a chance on really.

Any reason(s) that you are aware of as to why the GMX registration page is unreachable? Is it just me?

It seems to be a UK only problem. Email it's self is working fine but for some reason the registration just sends you to the help page......which isn't very helpful.
When I used a VPN it worked for other countries including the Isle of Man.....I can't sign in to the web version either, it's telling me my sign in details are incorrect. However, my email client is still retrieving the emails without any difficulty.
Not sure what the problem is.....Unless it's another consequence of Brexit....   I'll let you know when/if I can get to the sign up page.

Likewise, although in my case it has been longer and my only Virgin email address was actually a NTLWorld one. It still works, although I don't use it out of choice, and I set it to forward any incoming messages to my current email address. 

As others have said I assume it could stop working without further warning but it is probably seven years now......

Of course when it stops the forwarding will of course probably go too.
