Pot those on straight away and I suspect they'll all take and look healthy really quickly. Journeying through the post is going to be stressful for any plant

Those are too far gone to recover. I stopped buying from T&M last year, when I had a couple of similarly bad orders. Use Suttons and Hayloft now.0

I stopped buying on line due to plants arriving in bad condition too. Sutton’s were taken over by T and M so stopped buying from them.0

Can you confirm that takeover, please? As far as I am aware, Suttons is still owned by the same team that undertook a management buyout in 2014. Wikipedia confirms this but isn't the most reliable source. It matters because Suttnos has long been one of the more reliable horticultural suppliers.comeandgo said:I stopped buying on line due to plants arriving in bad condition too. If the growing points are healthy and no sign of mold I'd agree to pot on asap and they should recover.
General growth will be held back tho.

The companies house info also gives the Thompson and Morgan address with the new directors appointed at the time of the takeover. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
Thank you, that's very depressing news. Suttons has always been a good company to deal with, in my experience. I can't say the same for Thompson and Morgan. These buyouts and consolidations never seem to work in favour of the consumer (and often not even for the companies involved, come to that).elsien said:

Likewise regarding Suttons, from way back when they were based in Reading and I used to buy from their shop thereA._Badger said:

Numerus non sum1 -
Yes, I remember them in Reading, too, though I never bought directly from their shop. This consolidation in horticulture is worrying. Fothergill has been swallowing-up the competition right left and centre (D,.T. Brown, Woolmans etc) and I'm not awfully impressed by the results. What Westland has done to Marshalls and Unwins is another example...Farway said:
