Default on loan has date change query



Good afternoon all,
Following a complaint a default date was changed from 22/7/22 to 9/3/19.
About a month later all CRAs updated to reflect this.
A few months later the original debt was sold.
This loan with the original company showed as fully settled and a new loan appeared with the new company.
The new company has put a default date of 22/7/22 and not the 9/3/19.
The new company instructed a 3rd party to collect payments.
There are no contact details for this new company. I’ve called the 3rd party and wrote frankly I get the feeling they don’t know what they are doing and was told it would be logged.
i called the original loan company who have logged a complaint but said complaint can take 8 weeks to be resolved as it’s only the complaints department that would be able to action anything.
Anyone have any other avenues or advice?

They are called Perch Capital

Perch bought all the PerfectHome debts
According to that website, If your account is now managed by Perch, you should contact ACI-UK Ltd by email at support@aciuk.uk or by phone: 01253 531517.
Is that who you have been contacting?

It wasn't a Perfect Home loan. It was with Oplo originally.
I have contacted ACI but they are the ones who don't appear to be keen to resolve or do anything.0 -
If you've complained, 8 weeks has passed, and it's not resolved, try referring it to the Information Commissioner
