Will the job centre line answer after five?

I've been on hold for an hour and half. It's now 17:08. It says they shut at five but the automated voice is still telling me to wait.
does anyone know if they still answer for people who were on hold earlier?

For future reference, they wouldn't answer after 5. I'm very surprised you didn't just get cut off at 5pm.
