hi,
i had major problems accessing my emails on outlook express as it took ages for it to accept my password which it kept asking for . i changed to thunderbird but still have the problem !!
it won't remember my password and keeps saying sending the password did not succeed and that it was unable to lock maildrop !!
i have to reenter the password about twenty times til it actually starts downloading my inbox emails !!
any help or advice would be much appreciated
thanks

First check if your internet provider has a webmail service, most do. Check if you can log in there using your usual user name/email address and password. Then move to next step which is to check your email program's account settings.0

i can check into the webmail ok . it was full (99% storage used up )of junk mail .
where do i go from here ?
thanks0 -
You need to purge your mail via Webmail, if a filter or search facility exists then select all oldest ones then delete. If your junk mail in in a separate folder then select it all & delete. Then get a friend to send you an email and test Thunderbird or Outlook Express again.0
