Trouble with CCJ set aside

Hi all,
Not sure if anyone can give any advice
We found out we had a CCJ on my name last year August. applied in June and the 1 month appeal had just passed by 1 week.
We paid if off within a week and completed a N22 form for it to be set aside.
We sent it off to CCBC with the consent order. We got a reply in Dec stating there wasn't enough information so we sent more, we got a reply in Feb saying there wasn't enough info so the claimant solicitors sent more information.
It's been 10 weeks and no response yet.
We paid it in full in aug as soon as we found out and we are due to remortgage in 2 weeks. We don't know whats going on it's been nearly a year we've been trying to get a judge to make a decision. Anyone had this issue?

You paid the ccj but are now trying to get it set aside?

You have paid it. On what basis are you arguing for a set aside?0

If the CCJ wasn't justified - was there a reason you paid it? Or was it justified but you didn't know about the debt?

The poster says that they had a consent order from the creditor so I think that is the issue. The grounds for the set aside are not really that relevant0

@pinktree87 so, how has this progressed ?0

Judges don`t always like consent orders, some view it as a way of avoiding having a judgement on their file for 6 years, playing the system if you want to describe it as such.
The delay could be for one of many reasons, the only words of comfort I can afford you is that re-mortgaging with the same lender usually avoids a credit check, wear as applications to a new lender do not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
