Update on AET and Couples Threshold

Not sure if this update (If it is one) has been covered yet. Found this link. Equality Analysis: Raising the Administrative Earnings Threshold (Spring Budget 2023 announcement) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Seems a bit contradictory, it says the AET for couples will be increased to over £1300 a month, but I thought the couples threshold was being removed and it was now based on people being classed as individuals? Also says couples will be expected to work at least 29 hours between them.

I think the increase in AET to 18h (single) and 29h (couples) is due to come in September 2023, and then the plan to phase out the couples AET threshold is from April 2024, but I could be wrong as I cannot find anything to definitively confirm this.
