Santander credit card statement error

I took advantage of a 0% balance transfer offer from Santander a year ago.  The 0% deal was due to end on 28/02/23, however, on my statement dated 05/03, the end date is shown as 30/11/24.  I was charged £12.30 balance transfer interest on that statement.  I rang Santander to inform them of the new extended date and was told they could not see my March statement at their end, so advised me to go into branch.  I did this and told them I expected them to honour the new date.  Shortly afterwards, the £12.30 interest was credited back to me.  On my April statement, the extended end date was still showing as 30/11/24 and there was no interest charge.  I then received a letter from Santander stating they had made an error and they would be charging me interest in April.
My question is, having given me the extended date on both my March and April statements, are Santander obliged to honour this date and extend the 0% period to 30/11/24?

    No.

It was a statement error, not a notice of variation of terms.

It was an error and they have agreed to honour the implied terms of that error for the period until they have corrected it.  Your original contracted terms still stand.

I would go back & ask as it is due to their error will they waive the interest for April.
Sadly other than that I do not think they will change their mind, even if you complain. FOS  can not force them to give you the increased period.
Can we take it you have the funds to pay off the remainder of the balance transfer?

But what gets me is why they asked you to go to  branch, as they could not see the statement. As branch is only going to access same systems. So sounds like a rep that was not CC trained & should have passed you to one who was.
