Budget?
But that around 40 inch is a small screen size. There is no really good ones out there from the major names.
Head into John Lewis and Richer Sounds or similar decent retailers for no pressure sales advice and audition a few.1 -
Budget us important, but all else being equal 4k OLED, HDMI 2.1 with VRR will be best for PS5, either LG or Sony Bravia with Android, though some of the Samsung models also fit very well.1

Screen Technology
- LED (9)
- QLED (6)
- 4K UHD (2)
- Neo QLED (1
which is best

Based on the budget you have in those links, none of those models, but the LG one in the link below.aayush said:

It seems ridiculous to me that 40 inch is now classes as a small screen. Houses are getting smaller but TVs are getting larger. I don't have space for anything larger than possibly 37 inch at the absolute limit, and don't believe I'm alone in having limited space.Rodders53 said:Budget?

OP said they wanted LED backlighting so that would exclude an OLEDMattMattMattUK said:Budget us important, but all else being equal 4k OLED, HDMI 2.1 with VRR will be best for PS5, either LG or Sony Bravia with Android, though some of the Samsung models also fit very well.
Depending on your age, the main issue with CRT TVs was their depth and weight. Its not that my 12" TV bedroom when I was a teenager was an appropriate size for watching films on etc but its the maximum weight the flimsy TV mounting arm could take and it not protrude too far into the room.TELLIT01 said:

Remove the dimensions issues and increase resolution to pictures dont look pixelated and people get the size of TV most probably would have wanted but previously wasn't practical.
Personally I think TVs can get too big for daily viewing, especially if you are going to put it in the corner of a room, but I have the advantage of a flush wall mounted screen that's a decent size plus a large projector that drops in front for the big movie night.0 -
Hi tv is sorted for Samsung 50 inch with 5 years gurr0

We have no choice but to put it diagonally across a corner due to the shape of the room. Before long we may not be able to buy a TV at all.

I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
