Shpock

Does anyone use shpock? Is it necessary to provide personal email for a buyer to complete a payment? I asked for collection but they came back saying want shipping, already paid, 1 field clear and needs my email. No money is in my wallet yet. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t like giving personal information as wary of scams but in this case I’m the seller. Anyone used to it? Thanks.

I would recommend contacting customer service. They can take a day or two to respond but are very good.I have sold items on Shpock with Paypal when the payment would not go through on the Shpock app. It is not a good app at all as it has so many problems with payments. If you think the buyer is untrustworthy then wait for customer services to further instruct you. Also check the buyer's feedback by clicking on the icon next to their username.1

I will only use Shpock like I would use Gumtree - cash or bank transfer upon collection. I will not use Shpock Wallet - too many scams and bad stories. Every time I list on Shpock I always end up getting spam emails like “my mum is interested please email her details on………..” etc

Thank you. I contacted help centre and they got back to confirm the buyer account was fraudulent. My suspicion was correct.2

Glad they got back to you so quick. Maybe the scammers prey on new sellers. I noticed that after I got a few feedbacks I stopped getting scammers contacting me.
