Gers - my mam and I took my girls to Butlins at Skegness several times - they loved it there. We would change trains at Doncaster and they would take their jumpers or jackets on - it was always warmer once we were at Doncaster! DD has taken little one a couple of times but it will be my first visit for a long time - it could be a long week of waiting with little one counting the days x8

Afternoon all, rain here all morning on and off, a bit wet watching DGD playing football, and a bit of a drive too. Back home now & eaten our bacon & eggs. I've got some flat iron steak for tea, DS2 & kids are off to the cinema.Nan & Jackie, so good to see you posting but boo to ongoing health issues. Sending healing hugs to you both and anyone else poorly. We had a nice meal out with DS2 & kids last night after the match, DS1 made his own as he was a bit busy. We waited for the players to come out of the stadium to get autographs but apparently they were having an award ceremony so didn't appear but DGS asked a man on the door so we weren't hanging around too long. Can't decide what to do this afternoon, snuggle down with my book or do some baking.Dp1, we had friends who went to Japan a while back, lots of lovely photos of blossom.Snoozer, well done on the camper, we are putting ours up for sale soon as it's rarely used as a camper. So annoying about the CC, these scammers must be making a small fortuneHappy Sunday x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
